Founded on 29th March 1960, Thai International is the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand. It is the largest airline in the country with headquarters located in Chatuchak District, Bangkok. Baggage Allowance for carry-on baggage

• Star Alliance Gold Status customers traveling in Business or First Class are entitled to bring 2 carry-on baggage with dimensions 56 X 45 X 25 cm with a total weight of not more than 7 kg
• Other passengers are entitled to bring 1 carry-on baggage with dimensions 56 X 45 X 25 cm with a total weight of not more than 7 kg

Baggage Allowance for checked-baggage

Checked baggage policy by weight concept applicable to Domestic circuit is: -

• For Passengers traveling in Royal Silk Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 40 kg
• For Passengers traveling in Premium Economy Class,the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 30 kg
• For Passengers traveling in Economy Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 20- 30 kg

Checked baggage policy by weight concept applicable to the international sector within TC3(Asia, Australia, New Zealand), between TC2(Europe, Africa, Middle East) and TC3(Asia, Australia, New Zealand)

• For passengers traveling in Royal First Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 50 kg
• For passengers traveling in Royal Silk Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 40 kg
• For passengers traveling in Premium Economy Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 40 kg
• For passengers traveling in Economy Class, the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 40 kg
• For Infants not occupying the seat the maximum combined weight of all pieces must not exceed 10 kg

Checked Baggage Policy by Piece Concept applicable to International Sectors to/from USA/Canada:

• For passengers traveling in Royal First Class, the maximum combined weight of 2 pieces must not exceed 32 kg with the maximum dimension in total per bag being 158 cm
• For passengers traveling in Business Class, the maximum combined weight of 2 pieces must not exceed 32 kg with the maximum dimension in total per bag being 158 cm
• For passengers traveling in Economy Class, the maximum combined weight of 2 pieces must not exceed 23 kg with the maximum dimension in total per bag being 158 cm
• For Infants not occupying the seat the maximum combined weight of 1 piece must not exceed 23 kg with the maximum dimension in total per bag being 115 cm

Date Change Policy

• With Thai Airways passengers can reschedule their flights. For this, they need to pay a cancelation or change fee which depends on the fare class of the ticket.
• For international flights, date changes can be made at least 6 hours before departure
• If the changes are made within 24 hours of booking, then the passengers can get a full refund subject to some conditions
• If the changesin the flight are made after 24 hours, then they need to pay cancelation charges

Cancellation Policy

• Thai Airways offer great flexibility to its customers if they want to cancel their flight. The cancelation policy of Thai Airways includes going on the Manage Booking option on its official website, following the 24-hour cancelation policy to avoid cancelation fees or contacting customer care.
• Flight must be canceled 24 hours before departure and the ticket should be booked 7 days before the departure. If it is canceled within 24 hours of the departure time, then passengers need to pay the cancelation fee which depends upon the category of flight
• If the passenger cancels the flight after 24 hours, then they need to pay around $90-$120 as the cancelation fee
